Laura Bruhn, Counseling Intern
Welcome! My focus is providing a supportive and inclusive therapeutic environment that promotes healing for clients facing the many barriers that come from life’s challenges. As a clinician I prioritize compassionate client-centered care that is tailored specifically to honor every individuals’ unique needs, challenges, and strengths. Through this care, I strive to help clients improve functioning in both mind and body.
My therapeutic goal is establishing a collaborative partnership that creates a safe space for clients to express, process and heal current and past challenges. As a professional with experience in helping individuals facing significant physical, cognitive and emotional challenges, I understand the need and value in offering multiple resources and treatment modalities to find the most supportive healing strategies. Through our work together, clients and I uncover the barriers impeding improvement in order to develop effective therapies, strategies and skills.
